Voiceover Marketing is not something I have spent any time on.\u00a0 At all.\u00a0 This is pretty simple because I am not a voice actor.\u00a0 And yet, with all those well-intended \u201cputting the cart before the horse\u201d students of mine, it\u2019s the first thing they ask, even before they inquire about training.\u00a0 \u201cHow can I get voiceover auditions?\u201d\u00a0 \u201cHow will I get a voiceover agent?\u201d\u00a0 \u201cWhen will I make my voiceover demo and who do I send it to?\u201d\u00a0 The questions that go beyond the technique of voiceovers into the actual business and marketing of your voice are endless.\u00a0 And so is the work associated with it.\u00a0 Like any self-employed person, you will have to work, yes work, to promote yourself.\u00a0 Jobs will not come to you.\u00a0 And yet, the vast amount of work to do, and how to go about doing it, seems overwhelming.\u00a0 I don\u2019t necessarily know if I have ever seen the perfect guidebook for this yet, but a few names keep popping up on the voiceover stratosphere that seem worth mentioning here.\u00a0 I have included a link to a specific article that is connected to the concept of voiceover marketing, but the site in general seems to offer more on the subject beyond the specific link.\u00a0 So feel free to explore and good luck learning how to get your voice \u201cheard.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
