We start with a rhetorical question.\u00a0 This usually means you want to deliver the line in an \u201call-knowing\u201d, \u201cwink-like\u201d way, since you are obviously tipping off your listener to the fact that you are only asking to then provide them with the answer.\u00a0 Make sure your tone reflects this.\u00a0 The writer will subconsciously respond to this.\u00a0 Your focus should be on \u201cwhat\u201d, not tea.\u00a0 Assume tea is a given, especially since you say that word so many times in the spot.\u00a0 It emphasizes itself.\u00a0 Give most of your attention though, to the \u201cstand up to ice\u201d.\u00a0 This is the point of this specific kind of iced tea and why it\u2019s special.\u00a0 How does this tea achieve this?\u00a0 It has SO MUCH FLAVOR.\u00a0 Experiment here with whether SO is all you need to make the point, or whether the whole phrase is necessary.\u00a0 Your read becomes unique when you combine intelligent script-analysis with personal experimentation on what feels good.\u00a0 The next sentence sells itself on it\u2019s big flavor.\u00a0 It also has a contrast written in.\u00a0 Highlight the contrast and you tell the writer you see how it makes the line \u201cear-catching.\u201d\u00a0 So, yes, TINY LITTLE and BIG are what makes this sentence pop by the magic art of illuminating opposites.\u00a0 Now the script gets more specific to prove its worth.\u00a0 My favorite thing to do is break a rule, so get ready.\u00a0 I always say that when a word is repeated you don\u2019t emphasize it, as it\u2019s doing that all on its own.\u00a0 But sometimes you need to bend a little on this, especially when you can tell the writer is attached to this effect because it creates drama.\u00a0 You will have to trust your instincts on this one, as I won\u2019t always be here to whisper in your ear.\u00a0 If it feels right, go for it.\u00a0 SO.\u00a0 SO.\u00a0 Here\u2019s where the writer seems to want the 2 SO punch.\u00a0 SO deep, SO big, it STANDS UP TO ICE.\u00a0 Drama, drama, drama.\u00a0 If used sparingly it can stand out.\u00a0 All caps are a shout, caps once in a while are a magical firework show popping up in an otherwise ordinary sky when you least expected it.\u00a0 The next line asks that STRONG and LONG be punched.\u00a0 It\u2019s simple.\u00a0 One, they rhyme, and therefore the writer might have done it on purpose and takes pleasure in hearing it emphasized.\u00a0 Two, they\u2019re adjectives.\u00a0 They speak as testimonial to the superior flavor of the product.\u00a0 They leave with their last sell point, a repetition to make sure you get it\u2026the FLAVOR comes THROUGH.\u00a0 Speak always to your point, and a POINT you shall make.\u00a0 There\u2019s no other speech worth listening to.<\/p>\n
